SEGS was formed in late 2023, following an idea to get golfers from the gaming industry together a few times a year with the following objectives:

• Help raise funds and awareness for the charity SpecialEffect
• Provide industry networking opportunities
• Have some fun and competition on the golf course

SEGS aims to be as inclusive, accessible and affordable as possible to all and welcome all golfers from within the gaming industry to join us. We aim to arrange around four  SEGS golf days across the UK each year, playing Stableford competitions and other formats.

To enter a SEGS golf day, you will need to become a SEGS member, which has an annual subscription fee of £40 per year, the majority of which will go to SpecialEffect and the rest to cover administration costs and prizes. Please see the How to Join section for more information.
